Two weeks ago, I made an account on reddit, yet another social media site. I immediately dove into battles with the Baha’i bigot and backstabber Scott Hakala (who was using the false name DavidbinOwen but was exposed anyway), until I got so sick of his arguments and self-serving bullcrap that I finally blocked him. He was infesting the Ex-Baha’i forum, which as a Baha’i propaganda minister he certainly had no business being in.

Meanwhile, I also talked about the Baha’i Faith in the UU reddit forum.

My comments must have made a strong impression, because I was then linked to the ex-Mormon forum on reddit.

I knew the Baha’i Faith and Mormonism arose at about the same time, but I had no idea how much those two religions actually had in common. Ironic, since if Joseph Smith was a true Prophet, Baha’u’llah could not be, and vice versa.

Incidentally, those two religions are featured in this video.

Can we stop pretending that all religious viewpoints are equally valid, please? If truth has ANY meaning in our society, we must draw the line at when religions teach outright falsehoods for the sake of dogma. I have already documented on this blog examples of both religions teaching outright lies to their followers, which they often parrot to attempt to mislead others into joining their cults. And I do count lies of omission.
