Fear of being shamed publicly

A friend of mine is being repeatedly attacked by certain people because of her posting names and pics of members blocked from her group on Human Rights, along with specific reasons for the blocking. They claim that this act itself violates human rights, as well as rules of proper behavior. But does it?

When challenged to specify what rights are being violated, they refuse to do so.

When they are issued a judgement, they refuse to accept it.

Instead of moving on after they state their case, they keep repeating it, as if saying it 1000 times will make a difference after failing to make their case the first time.

That’s trolling, people.

What’s really going on, with at least some of the critics, is fear of appearing on the list they are protesting about. Well, here’s an idea: Don’t violate the rules of the group and you won’t ever appear on that list!

I agree with Ket LOL and High Five!

That is exactly the reason, it is also the reason they don’t post in HRN – they know that Ket won’t accept abuse. What they seem to not have noticed, is that Ket is more protective of her members than she of herself – she will take fight if she’s the one under fire (read being abused), but she won’t accept when others are being abused.

They are nothing but a bunch of cowards, and soon they will be coming here and trashing you for even mentioning them by name, even if you never did!

    SoB

  2. That’s my attitude as well, Henric. When others throw rocks at me, I tend to retreat. But if someone like Ketutar gets slandered, backstabbed, and treated like dirt, I won’t stand for it. I’ll be on the attackers like flies on…..well, you know!

Right on, Dale.Indeed, it is trolling.

I haven’t been around for long, but long enough to have observed said behavior. Right on, a second time….cowards, all. If a person truly believes what they’re saying has merit, they would be chomping at the bit to explain why they feel their rights have been violated.

Refusing to accept a judgment a host has made and carrying on in that fashion is not only childish, it’s rude and ignorant. It’s the action of someone who either doesn’t have the sense to read the fine print, i.e., what the Host’s rules and rights are, or HAS read and just plain doesn’t give a rat’s arse. Either way, they’re getting a punishment that’s far less than they deserve.

There are times when certain *rights* are taken away, for just cause. On a much harsher scale, I admit, but this puts me in mind of a molester who gets out of prison and then screams out that his rights have been violated because his picture and a warning about him is on every tree he passes, or he’s being refused a place to live in a neighborhood filled with children.

I’m sure I’ll get flak for making such a comparison, but some of the things I’ve read by these *righteous* people are, in my eyes and heart, tantamount to the most vile physical and emotional abuse anyone with half a brain could ever imagine; and it’s been heaped, over and over again, upon the most gentle, loving people I’ve had the pleasure of reading, albeit on another site.

I’m still lost on this site, but as soon as I spotted Dale’s profile logo, I skipped around until I ended up here. Some might say, ‘Lucky break.’ I say, ‘Karma’s bright beacon never dims.’

This is my first post on this site. Leave it to me to turn it into a rant. LOL

My pleasure to have run into the three of you. Hope to see more of you here and in C2, where I first noted how special you all were.

As I said in ‘The day’, and still say…..Keep on keepin’ on’.

    Peace For All,
    Cassie AKA Phoenix Rising
