I wrote this during a discussion about a friend of mine:
“I try to make subtle distinctions to be as accurate as possible. I’ve noticed that when I do this, people who think in the opposite way slam me for being inconsistent. Take Israel, for example. Israel-bashers take the real examples of Israel’s dismal treatment of the Palestinians and translate that into outright labling of the Israeli state itself as criminal. When you do that, you are expressing prejudice. So even if the human rights violations by Israel ended, the Israel-bashers would still demand that the Jewish state should not exist because the act of establishing it displaced some Palestinians.
What they don’t tell you is that if Israel had never come into existence, the Jews still living in Palestine would be under ARAB rule and would be subject to whatever treatment the Arab rulers felt like doing. Given that most Arab states even today are either absolute monarchies or military dictatorships, how can efforts to establish a democracy for Jews like what was done in 1948 not be justified?
So I will slam Israel for specific acts that are excessive, but defend its right to exist and protect its citizens within lawful limits.”
And that’s the only decent way to operate. Anyone who takes a different route is a hypocrite, looking for excuses to have a second Holocaust in the Holy Land.

Your opinion? Must be. If you studied the region’s history or talked to “Eastern” Jews in Israel, you would have learned that:
1. Jews always lived in peace with the Arabs and Muslims since the days of the Islamic Empire.
2. Jews were saved by the Muslims during the Spanish Inquisition.
3. Jews enjoyed living in Palestine freely and until Zionism (and terrorism) arrived.
4. Eastern Jews (Arab Jews) have tried to leave Israel time and again since they are discriminated against in Israel. Guess where they wanted to go back? Arab countries. I know because I lived in Israel and talked to many such families.
It would be better if you research the accuracy of your comments before you yourself spread hatred, whether directly or indirectly!

1. So you think that the Jews in Palestine should forever be made to live as a stateless minority in their own ancestral homeland, as long as they are in a state of “peace” with the Arabs who have a dozen states all over the Middle East? That’s not freedom or equality! Even the Kurds of Iraq and Turkey should have their own independent state (Kurdistan) and so should the Tibetians. So I’m being consistent. You are not.

Points 2 and 4 are very relevant. Zionists always claim that Muslims want to kill Jews. Even the Jews themselves know this fact and have made statements to this effect here, on the West Coast, in Public gatherings. Strawman. I said nothing about Palestine not being partly Arab. Of course it is. The UN agreement to devide Palestine between Jews and Arabs was a recognition of that fact. It was the Arabs who broke that agreement by declaring war on Israel as soon as it declared its independence. There is no excuse for that.
I am aware of all the propaganda posted bashing Israel. I am also aware of how easy it is for people who already hate Israel for being a Jewish state to make up nonsense out of thin air and post it on a website, and encourage other anti-Semites to pass it on.
