What Trump’s SECOND Victory Means

Trump’s victory on November 5, 2024 means that America’s tendency to be hypocritical and white male dominated will continue just as it did before. Barack Obama’s election in 2008 was an exception, not the rule. We had another opportunity to elect a woman, this one of color known for her dedication to law enforcement and we still instead elected a criminal that was a WHITE MAN!

It is just like 2016! I really do not understand this hold Donald Trump has on so many millions of people! I can see him for what he is, why can’t they?

This election should have been won by Kamala Harris in a landslide. The fact that she didn’t is proof that we are a nation of IDIOTS!!! A civil war is coming, I can feel it!!!

We did not have normal politics in 2016 and we certainly don’t have it this year! But Donald Trump was not the cause of America’s collective toxicity, he merely benefited from it. The real problem, like in past decades, was that we STILL think the status quo is acceptable, that we must always have a white male leader (even President Obama was actually half white).

People are already claiming the election of Trump was rigged, that there was no way Democrats could also achieve victories down ballot in states that voted for Trump. However, it’s likely that many who voted for Trump were casual voters who didn’t bother to vote for anyone else…they simply did not want a woman of color to be the next President.
This is why American democracy is failing.

  1. I heard from the news that there were also citizens who voted for Donald Trump not because of what he stands for but because they’re confident that the team working with Trump will help improve the American economy.

These voters couldn’t say the same for Kamala Harris, judging from her past and present work performances and through her delivered speeches, even if they supported what she stood for and despite Obama’s endorsements.

    • The only time the economy was a legitimate issue in any American election was in 1932, during the Great Depression. FDR’s policies gradually pulled us out of that disaster. The Republicans failed us then and they have been failing us ever since. There is NO REASON to trust them about such issues.

I vote according to my PRINCIPLES and that is why I will never vote Republican again!
