Airline Abuse

Overbooking is a common practice of airlines in which the company will deliberately assign more passengers to a plane than can actually fly on it, based on the assumption that some passengers will cancel flights. This ensures that planes are nearly always full and thus maximizes profits for the airlines. But perhaps this practice needs to end, because of the following incident:

Passenger dragged off overbooked United flight

This was a man who had paid for his seat and already boarded the plane and had done nothing disruptive to disturb the other passengers, and yet he was subjected to VIOLENCE that did disturb the other passengers.

You know you really screwed up when even the despicable Rush Limbaugh denounces you for abuse!

United Airlines should be driven into bankruptcy over this!
